The second season of Fall Guys promises a lot of exciting changes, including the ability to fall with your friends while waiting for a show to load.
Although the Fall Guys hype has died down a little, it refuses to completely disappear. In fact, in the coming weeks, the popular game’s hype train will start to pick up speed once again. Fall Guys season two is scheduled to begin on October 6, 2020, and its developer Mediatonic has already teased some of the changes that will be a part of it.
Those changes include new levels and skins that suggest the season will have a fantasy theme. Its beans have been shown in screenshots dressed as wizards and dragons, scrambling for eggs in what looks like a makeshift castle. Plenty to be excited about already, and the always entertaining Fall Guys Twitter account continues to pile on more good news.
That good news comes in the form of a feature players have apparently been asking for. The ability to fall alongside your fellow beans while the game is matchmaking. Beans currently fall alone while waiting for a show to load, and may be falling forever if they have been singled out for cheating. However, if part of a party in season two, your fellow beans will be falling alongside you, as can be seen below.
“Lots of you wanted to see your friends fall with you while you were matchmaking Well… Season 2 has got you covered,” Fall Guys tweeted. Even though Fall Guys isn’t technically a team game - unless you are competing in a team round, of course - having friends in a show with you can have its benefits. Should all of you make it to the final round together, there are tactics your fellow beans can employ to increase your chances of landing the crown.
Every time a new number regarding Fall Guys’ success makes the headlines, it further proves what a success the game has been. Whether it be news that it was the most downloaded PS Plus game of all time, or the reveal that it generated $185 million in revenue during its first month on PC. Fall Guys is sticking around, and the start of season two will further prove that.
As for finding out the answers to the more obscure questions you might have about Fall Guys and its beans, chances are you’ll find them in TheGamer’s exclusive interview with its devs.
