Earlier this month, a leak circulated online showcasing several brand new skins that would probably be coming to Fall Guys, based on the fact that they were basically displayed inside the game’s engine. The skins included several Tron characters, 2B from Nier Automata, and surprisingly, Bomberman.

Now Mediatonic has all but confirmed the Bomberman costume with their latest tweet. “We’ve got an EXPLOSIVE collab coming soon,” wrote Mediatonic. “It’s gonna blow your mind. Can you guess who??”

That’s definitely Bomberman’s silhouette, so yeah, we can guess.

For a better look at the new Bomberman skin, head to our previous coverage here for the video from YouTuber KrxnkyFG. It’s basically a Fall Guys bean person wearing a Bomberman outfit, complete with a dangling ball antenna thing.

Konami did recently say that they’d be outsourcing more of its intellectual property to other studios after partnering with developer GuruGuru for the return of GetsuFumaDen. A Bomberman costume isn’t a totally new game, but it’s a start.

Mediatonic didn’t say when the new costume would arrive, but it probably will coincide with the release of Super Bomberman R Online, which arrives on Steam and all major consoles tomorrow. Keep an eye on the Fall Guys Twitter account for confirmation, but this seems like about as sure a thing as you can get.

Fall Guys’ Season 4.5 update arrived a few weeks ago and brought the new Slimescraper and Button Bashers rounds, as well as custom lobbies, improved latency for grabbing objects, and a visual indicator for when your connection starts to drop. Best of all, crossplay was enabled on PC and PS4, although cross-platform party making isn’t available just yet.
