Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout could maybe, quite possibly, hopefully (we’re begging at this point) coming to the Nintendo Switch soon enough, according to the revelations of a datamine.
The wacky, free-for-all title, currently available for the PlayStation Store and PC, has become the shocking new gaming craze. It’s pretty popular on social media too, with the official Twitter page now up to 1.2 million followers and it’s currently the most-watched game on Twitch at the moment.

Perhaps, it wasn’t expected that such a concept would be so well-received as Mediatonic pitched the title to around 10 publishers, with Devolver Digital eventually taking them up on it. And the fact that it’s free for PS Plus users throughout the month of August likely helped the brand massively.
While this does not necessarily mean the game’s set for Nintendo’s console, it should leave owners more hopeful than not.
Oatmeal Dome also noted that the devs could have gotten the file in there by accident.
“You can only compile Unity games for the Switch if you are licensed by Nintendo and have installed the provided SDK,” he wrote in response to a tweet suggesting the file could have been left over.
“That being said, Mediatonic could’ve just activated Switch support by accident.”
We’ll see what becomes or doesn’t become of this eventually but there’s not much more incentive needed to get the game released for other platforms where the devs are concerned.
Don’t get your hopes up, but do keep those fingers crossed.
