Following up on last week’s reveal that SoulWorker: Anime Legends would be making its way to mobile devices later this month, publisher Gameforge and South Korean developer Aprogen Games have officially released the game, making it available now for iOS and Android mobile devices.

SoulWorker: Anime Legends brings the popular post-apocalyptic free-to-play MMORPG to Western audiences, offering up everything that fans of the franchise would expect, including high-energy battles and anime-inspired cinematic gameplay, while providing a brand-new experience within the SoulWorker universe.

In celebration of the launch, character gameplay reveals have been released, and TheGamer was fortunate enough to get an exclusive first-look at Jin Seipatsu, who - apparently - is always ready to throw fisticuffs against those who deserve it.

With the emotions of SoulWorkers being “so strong that they are able to transform their souls into powerful weapons,” Jin uses his emotion of Integrity to bring his raging fists into battle. Jin is weighed down by a tragedy that befell him earlier in life, in which innocent people lost their lives. As such, the hard-hitting martial artist uses his power to protect the weak, boxing foes with his Spirit Arm fist weapons.

Other characters in SoulWorker: Anime Legends feature weapons such as swords, scythes, guns, and even a guitar, but it’s hard to pass up lethal weapons that go with you wherever you may go and can always be at the ready. Based on the gameplay video - in which Jin goes to town on a massive arachnid woman and her cronies - it’s pretty clear that Jin can handle things perfectly fine on his own without the need for any additional accessories.

Beyond Jin himself, the flashy action taking place seems to be like a lot of fun, especially for fans of that sort of cinematic anime combat. Interestingly enough, although the game has only released for mobile devices, the animation and gameplay doesn’t seem like it would be too out of place on the Nintendo Switch.

For now though, SoulWorker Anime Legends is available now for iOS and Android mobile devices via the App Store and Google Play, respectively.
