The Days of Summer Event is finally live in Call of Duty: Mobile, arriving with Season 8 on July 28. Players can dive into the action now in a limited-time event that tasks them with completing a total of 12 different objectives in game to grab a great-looking reward. While the event is now live, Activision has yet to list a firm end date, so players should work at getting all tasks done ASAP.

The main prize up for grabs is the Purifier H20 skin, which gives the Purifier Operator Skill a Super Soaker vibe that fires streams of water instead of flames. The twelve challenges to complete for this are:

  • Play 3 Juggernaut Matches Play 10 Juggernaut Matches Select the Highrise map in MP-Featured and Kill 15 Enemies on it Select the Highrise map in MP-Featured and Play 5 MP Matches with Friends on it Kill 30 Enemies in Juggernaut Matches Stay Online for 15 min in total Stay Online for 30 min in total Stay Online for 45 min in total Stay Online for 60 min in total Play 3 Gunfight Matches Send 5 XP cards to Friends Play 5 Kill Confirmed Matches

The good news is that most of these challenges overlap and should be completed simply by playing the game normally. Even better, there is no real need to win any match played, and simply participating will complete almost all of the objectives. Apart from getting kills in certain cases, any player can wrap these all up fairly quickly.

The arrival of the Days of Summer Event alongside Season 8 is great for players, because there is already so much else to do at the same time. A new Season also means that there is a new Battle Pass, offering players both a free and premium track of reward tiers to obtain. Working towards grabbing the Purifier H20 skin should provide a ton of experience to climb those tiers.

Notably, Tier 14 is one that everyone should aim for, which should be a snap since it is so low on the Battle Pass track. This will unlock the Shrapnel perk, which is new and doubles the number of lethal equipment in a player’s loadout.

Now is a great time to dive into the action in Call of Duty: Mobile, so make sure to finish everything quickly because the event could end at any time!
