Destiny 2’s Solstice of Heroes event is now live, and guardians are logging in to tackle remaining Moments of Triumph that bridge the gap between now and when Forsaken launches. When players log for Solstice of Heroes, they will be gifted one Solstice Engram, which contains all new gear exclusive to Solstice of Heroes. Here are all the big new additions to the Eververse stock in Solstice of Heroes.

The newest addition to Eververse comes in the form of armor glows, which modify the Solstice of Heroes armor sets with an elemental glow. The glow resonates with the player’s subclass, and glows brightest when the subclass matches the armor glow element. Players will certainly look elegant when these armor glows are applied to the fully-upgraded Solstice armor sets.

Among the other new items are exotic ornaments, sparrows, ghost shells, and emotes. Some of the items, such as the Predator Sun exotic ghost shell, fit well into the Solstice of Heroes sun theme. The Gray Hornet exotic sparrow is perfect for any Destiny 2 player wishing to fulfill their motorcycle fantasies in-game. While this update does add several cosmetics, it doesn’t add quite as many as the expansions do for Eververse.

Bungie has stated that players will be guaranteed a new item from the Solstice Engrams until they have collected all new items, so players should be able to quickly fill out their collection while grinding for their Moments of Triumph T-Shirt. The Moments of Triumph are a key part of the Solstice of Heroes, and will unlock both in-game and real life cosmetics for players. As with every year’s Moments of Triumph, players can net themselves an exclusive shirt from the Bungie store by completing triumphs as well.

The new Eververse items are flashy and unique, and the duplicate protection is certainly a nice addition on Bungie’s part. These Solstice Engrams will give players something extra to chase after while they explore all that Solstice of Heroes has to offer.

Destiny 2: Forsaken launches September 4 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
