Dwagonbown Goes UwU is a text conversion mod that changes Skyrim’s Dragonborn into something awful.

Just like the banner says at the top of the mod page, I’m not sorry for what I’m about to describe to you. Dwagonbown Goes UwU is a new mod for Skyrim, a game that already has so many mods that it’s often really hard to stand out from the crowd. Dwagonbown Goes UwU does this by being awful in a very particular way that makes the whole game sort of hilarious.

It’s a text conversion mod that changes everything into “uwu” speech. Rock Paper Shotgun has already done the best job of describing this particular dialect, so I’m just going to use their definition: “It is a particularly obnoxious form of faux-cutesy widdle babie talk, with a troubling vein of ‘step on me daddy’ energy.”

And yes, before you ask, you will start calling certain characters in Skyrim “daddy.” If that makes you feel too uncomfortable to continue, then you should probably stop reading right now. It only gets worse from here.

This mod changes most of the game’s text, but not quite all of it. There are a few sections of the game where you will produce a simple affirmative or negative without stuttering your way meekly through a sentence. But Dwagonbown Goes UwU changes the entire character of the Dragonborn so profoundly that it truly is a wonder why you’re still the sacred chosen one who saves the land.

And in case you were wondering, even the creator admits that this mod “is an offense to those who wrote our beloved, wonderful game. an affront to all things good and just in this world and beyond. our ancestors would be rolling in their graves, rustling in their urns, if they knew such a heinous abomination exists.”

Even the mod page is done up in comic sans hot pink without a single capital letter because that would be far too assertive.

You can get Dwagonbown Goes UwU on for both Legendary Edition and Special Edition Skyrim over on Nexus Mods. Don’t say I didn’t warn you.
