Developer Media Molecule’s Dreams for the PlayStation 4 has undoubtedly been a hit, with players creating all sorts of wonderful games to share with others.
Now, Media Molecule is taking the next step to allow even more gamers to experience what Dreams has to offer by releasing a free demo of the game, available now on the PlayStation Store.
The demo includes details on how to create in Dreams, as well as some of the studio’s favorite creations, including The Ornithologist’s Private Collection, Ruckus, Cubric, Player Piano Player, Art Therapy and Great Job Human, along with the first 20 minutes of Art’s Dream - Media Molecules musical narrative adventure.
The demo release comes at the same as the team’s new “Dreaming With…” video series announcement, which will be available for viewing on May 15th. In addition to the Media Molecule team itself, the series will feature creators from studios including Pixelopus, Naughty Dog, and Insomniac describing the joys and challenges of creating video games.
The series looks to be promising with its insights into the world of creating games from industry professionals. Anyone interested in game development - or, really, any creative-minded individual - should be sure to check it out.
