Dream Daddy, for the most part, is a humorous game about dating mostly eligible dads. To start the game, you build a dad and then get introduced to a street full of other dads. You have mysterious dads, sporty dads, spooky dads, and even indie dads. It’s up to you to get to know each of them by going on a series of dates and side activities. The game even gives you your very own child to parent. You may be wondering just how a game like this could have bad endings, well as you will see below, sometimes being a single dad is intense.

8 Cult Ending

This is a secret ending added in after the release of the game and, by all means, is one you should avoid at all costs. The cult ending is linked to married dad Joseph. From the get-go, you will notice that there is something a bit off about Joseph and his family. His twins especially act like something straight out of a horror novel.

In this ending, you wake up in a dungeon with Joseph in front of you, who has lost his mind. Joseph then reveals that he has been killing the dad’s spouses as a way to get sacrifices. Mary helps you escape to only be captured again, and by the end of the ending, she ends up killing Joseph.

7 One Night Stand Ending

This is the easiest and quickest ending to get in the game. To completely kill your chances with Robert, you just have to go to the bar the first night. There he will ask if you want to come back to his place. If you say yes, then you will go back home with him and have a night any dad should be ashamed of.

After Robert gets through with you, he shoos you out the door. If you try to text him throughout the game afterward, he will completely ignore you other than when he wants to hook-up. At the very end, your dad will tell him to learn to respect himself, and the route will end.

6 Bad Parent Ending

One of the most heart-wrenching endings is when you break-up with Amanda. If you play the game being overly pushy and not giving her space, then Amanda will start to grow distant from you. She will still choose to go to college, but at the end of her going away party, she will want to have a special talk.

It’s hear that Amanda explains she didn’t feel like she could breathe while living with you. She says that her going off to college is a great chance for you both to spend some time apart. She then leaves you to go have ice cream with her friends, and you are left without love or a great relationship with your child.

5 Waterfall Ending

This is one of the many joke endings in the game. To get this ending, you have to go on the third date with Craig. He will invite you to take a walk to a waterfall with him. If you agree, you will both get in swim trunks and begin to play around in the water. Eventually, Craig will state he wants to jump off of the waterfall, and you can oblige.

After you jump off, you are given the option to do so two more times. On the third jump, Craig will try to persuade you to go back to camp. If you reject his offer twice, then you will end up slipping off the waterfall and killing yourself. You even sadly monologue as you start to pass out from blood loss.

4 Ferris Wheel Ending

In line with the waterfall ending, this one also features your dad being dumb. This time you get trapped on a ferris wheel with Craig. Instead of going the classic romantic route, though, you two can decide to try and be competitive once again. This leads to the dad’s getting into a physical altercation in the carriage that you are sitting in.

If you choose to try and punch Brian, then you will miss and fall to the ground. This is a sadder ending as you think of poor Amanda’s future while you lay broken on the ground.

3 Damien True Good Ending

Damien works at the local animal shelter, and his ending involves a big dog named Duchess who can open doors. If you play your cards right by the end of the game Duchess is adopted and Damien falls in love with you.

What’s a better ending than one where a sweet animal finds a home and you get your dream dad?

2 Friendzone Endings

While all the friendzone ending isn’t technically bad, they are a bit of a letdown. In these ending, each dad gives you a slightly different version of the “we are better off as friends sentence.” Afterward, though, you learn that they are all delighted to still be close friends with you, with the exception of Craig.

1 Robert True Good Ending

Roberts’s true ending is sweet, but he ends up telling you he wants to work on himself. In fact, some of the dads like Robert don’t have true good endings and will always turn you down no matter what. It’s nice to see Robert taking the time to be the person you need.

This was an intentional decision by developers who didn’t want to create the standard dating sim everyone was used to.
