Dragon Ball FighterZ turns players into chibi versions of their favorite characters whenever they navigate the many menus and game types that the title has to offer. Whenever new DLC characters arrive for DBFZ, they also bring their own chibi avatars along with them.

Kefla, the latest released DLC character of FighterZ season 3, brought hers when she arrived. And her DLC partner, Ultra Instinct Goku, won’t be any different, as the lasted issue of Saikyo Jump magazine just revealed what exactly his chibi figure looks like.

For those unfamiliar with the term “chibi,” it’s a style of art that typically portrays characters — usually from anime — with large heads, huge eyes, and small, miniature bodies. The result serves to make characters look cute and endearing, and Dragon Ball FighterZ loves using it.

Ultra Instinct Goku’s avatar checks off most of these boxes, but his super-serious nature clashes with the style’s intent. His avatar’s face wears a perpetual scowl that hilariously contrasts with the chibi art style, as he almost seems displeased to have been reduced to such a small stature. Regardless, the avatar can still be considered cute since it’s just a matter of opinion.

Dragon Ball FighterZ is out now for PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
