After the reveal of Master Roshi in September, the season 3 roster for Dragon Ball FighterZ now only has two spots open. During the playoffs stream for Spain’s DBFZ National Championships FighterZ producer Tomoko Hiroki confirmed that information on the remaining two characters will be revealed on December 20.
“We know everyone is waiting for more information about the FighterZ Pass three remaining characters. We’ll make an announcement during Japan’s playoffs that will be held on December 20,” said Hiroki. She also mentioned that the first of these characters will be available in January, so you won’t have to wait too long after the announcement.
With two spots left to fill, it’s anybody’s guess who we’re going to see next. A number of fans immediately took to Twitter to name the likes of Hercule, Omega, and Nova Shenron. Maybe they’re older characters like Raditz or Mr. Satan, but for all we know Dragon Ball FighterZ may have another variant of Goku lined up for us.
FighterZ’s latest character was none other than the Turtle Hermit, Master Roshi. What he lacks in a Super Dash, he makes up for in a wide variety of ways like a Masterful Leap and the Reverse Kamehameha. He can also use his iconic Evil Containment Wave to seal up opponents, and unlike Picollo, he remembers to bring the lid. And of course, an added bonus to all of this is that we also got to see the buff version of Roshi from Dragon Ball Super.
