The Mushroom Kingdom is going to fall to the bottom of the WHO’s ratings, as the latest playable doctor to come to Dr. Mario World is the Goomba Tower, which is three Goombas in a doctor’s coat.
Dr. Mario World lets the player choose a doctor version of one of the Super Mario Bros. cast as a playable character and they all have special skills. This has led to some strange choices for playable characters over the course of the game’s existence. Dr. Mario World’s med school line-up consists of characters like Dr. Bowser, Dr. Waluigi, Dr. Baby Mario, Dr. Donkey Kong, Dr. Ludwig, and Dr. Nabbit, none of whom should be performing surgery.
The latest entry in the massive incoming Mushroom Kingdom malpractice lawsuit is Dr. Goomba Tower, which is three Goombas standing on top of each other. None of them have arms, so they likely won’t be effective physicians. That said: all they need to do is shove pills down their patients’ throats, which they can do with their massive heads or little feet.
