Dr Disrespect isn’t really known for keeping his thoughts to himself. In his latest rant, he called out Raven Software’s handling of Call of Duty: Warzone and even suggested that the devs should set up a meeting so he can help them “fix” it.
The streamer has always been known to be shrouded in controversy. From Twitch bans to disrespecting other streamers, to being disbarred from competitions, he has a penchant of pushing the wrong buttons. However, he has been constant in his criticism of Call of Duty: Warzone, especially season 4 and its Verdansk map.
However, the tipping point for Doc was when the game introduced the Dead Silence Field Upgrade which never really worked as intended. He called it a “corny ass mechanic” which had a “brain dead design”. As pointed out by Dexerto, things boiled over a few days ago, when he once again lashed out at Raven in a video.
He went on to say that Raven “don’t know what they’re doing and they’ve given up,” before going back to yelling about the Dead Silence Field Upgrade. “Just a couple of little changes, easy implementations. Nobody wants Dead Silence in the fucking game, that’d be the first thing I’d write on that whiteboard. I’d make them millions, the population of this game would come back.”
He then went on to receive a call on his fake smartphone, and it was obviously from Raven Software. However, Dr Disrespect turned down the offered opportunity to have a meeting with the ‘sound guy’ and instead demanded that they set up a meeting with the studio head before hanging up.
Meanwhile, Activision is busy clamping down on the AI-assisted cheating tool that has been plaguing Warzone recently.
