After Twitch suddenly banned Guy “Dr Disrespect” Beahm from its platform, streamers and fans alike have been intently waiting for more details. Now, the controversial streamer has made his first statement since Twitch removed him. Unfortunately, Dr Disrespect claims to be as unaware about what is going on as the community is.
Ever since leaker Rod Breslau claimed that Dr Disrespect’s ban was permanent, fans have been speculating about why Twitch banned him. Because of the permanent ban and sponsorship cancellations, some believe that Beahm is involved in a serious legal issue. However, the only confirmed statement from Disrespect’s fan is an Instagram post from the controversial streamer’s wife, who thanked Disrespect’s fans for their support.
In his first tweet since the permaban, Dr Disrespect informed his community that Twitch did not explain the reason for his permaban. Like his wife, he thanked the Champions Club for their support. However, the lack of details only served to confuse fans even more. After all, some believed that Disrespect’s strange behavior at the end of his final stream indicated that he was aware of the incoming ban.
