Doom Eternal Deluxe and Collector’s Editions
Doom Eternal’s online multiplayer, simply entitled “Battlemode,” will offer asymmetric warfare in the form of 2 versus 1 experiences, and Doom Eternal will not have microtransactions. Its asymmetric gameplay has a unique twist, however. Unlike most asymmetric multiplayer games in which one player takes control of a monster or vicious killer of some form, while other players control humans or foot-soldiers of a sort, Doom Eternal’s Battlemode will instead put the majority of players in the role of demons, while only one player controls the nearly-unstoppable Doom Slayer.

Doom Eternal Multiplayer
Each demon will have different methodologies of movement and tactics, and will be lightning fast on all sides of Doom Eternal’s multiplayer. The demon team of two will also be able to deploy other AI-controlled demons against the Doom Slayer to make that player more vulnerable to their tactics.
Doom Eternal’s Battlemode will include six different arenas at launch. Players will enter combat in a best-of-five matches, and five demons will be available to choose from at launch. This includes the Revenant, Mancubus, Archvile, Pain Elemental, and Marauder.
