It wouldn’t be a new DiRT installment without a soundtrack comprised of relatively recent music. Publisher Codemasters has unveiled the official tracklisting for the upcoming DiRT 5 and it’s the expected mixture of Rock, EDM, and Modern Pop. Some of the songs are solid, others are duds, and it feels like it is trying to appeal to everyone at once.

Strangely, though, the inclusion of Chaka Khan has me excited. It’s bizarre to see a 70s icon like her among the selection, but then the devs opted to include the track “Like Sugar” from her most recent album. It’s still a wild choice and I’m completely behind the pick.

As for the others, you can check the full tracklisting below. It consists of 40 different tracks that span all kinds of genres. I don’t really care for Pearl Jam’s newer material, but that’s made up for with The Prodigy and The Chemical Brothers. Extra tracks are being teased, so maybe those will be better.
