Dignitas’s all-female CS:GO squad will also compete in VALORANT, the organization revealed today. Dignitas Fe is one of the most successful female teams in Counter-Strike, having won Intel Challenge Katowice, a premier all-female tournament, in both 2018 and 2019.

Dignitas first picked up a female CS:GO roster in 2017, the team quickly finding solid results with a second place finish at Intel Challenge Katowice and a semi-final finish at Copenhagen Games. The team rounded out 2017 with a victory at GIRLGAMER Esports Festival, and kicked off 2018 with a win at Intel Challenge Katowice. They won their second consecutive Katowice event in 2019, becoming one of the most successful teams in the female CS:GO scene.

Dignitas Fe’s only LAN appearance in 2020 saw them finish second at GIRLGAMER Esports Festival in Dubai. The roster, which recently replaced long-time member Lynnie “artStar” Noquez with Julie “Bouchard” Bouchard on a trial basis, will now compete in VALORANT alongside CS:GO. Original members Amanda “rain” Smith and captain Emmalee “EMUHLEET” Garrido remain with the team, now leading the squad into VALORANT competition.

Dignitas Fe join many other professional Counter-Strike players in a switch to the competing FPS. The game is very similar to CS:GO, with many believing it to be the next big esport.

DIG Fe’s VALORANT debut will come in the ANEW Women’s 1k Open and the Elite Esports Rivalry Bowl Invitational, which are both slated to take place this weekend.
