E3 may have been canceled, but that’s no reason for Devolver Digital to skip its annual wacky stream. In a statement given to press today, the punk rock publisher announced that it would be holding the “Devolver Direct” on July 11, 2020. Starting at 12:00 pm PST, the show will see the return of the infamous Nina Struthers and her penchant for murder.

As with prior years, Devolver will be revealing new games alongside footage of currently available titles and older classics. As the company writes, “This year’s showcase continues the tradition of overpromises with new game reveals, gameplay reveals, release date announcements, and special guests from the industry to help usher in these important marketing bullet points.”

The press release today makes specific mention of demos for Carrion and Disc Room being playable during the stream. A special unannounced game is also going to be playable…and maybe another one…and another one…and another one…

Whatever happens, fans can expect the complicated narrative from the last few years to continue with this stream. If you want to keep up with the story (why does a presentation have a plotline?), you can find the prior year’s videos on Devolver’s official YouTube channel.
