The original stylish hard action series is coming back strong for 2012. Fans have both the brand new DmC Devil May Cry and the Devil May Cry HD Collection to look forward to.
Today, we’ve got two new trailers for the Ninja Theory-developed DmC Devil May Cry, along with the release date for the Devil May Cry HD Collection.
When images of Ninja Theory’s redesigned Dante first hit the web, the uproar was deafening. Even Devil May Cry creator Hideki Kamiya admitted that he didn’t really care for the new design. But of course, character design is just one aspect of the game, and once trailers began to emerge showing off just how fast and fluid DmC’s combat is, fans began to come around.
Capcom is offering players two new trailers for the game, the first focused on Dante’s escape from a world that is literally closing in on him. Take a moment to admire the detail in the environments, and the imposing architecture – before it all gets blown away. (Bonus question for Ninja Theory fans - does this trailer remind you at all of the plane crash sequence from Enslaved?)
The second DmC Devil May Cry trailer shows a “secret area” where Dante will be transported when he finds “secret portals hidden throughout the game.” Players who think that the “secret area” will be some sort of sanctuary for Dante should probably reconsider.
