Devil May Cry 5 features a long list of challenges for players to complete, including its own set of achievements and trophies. Some of the achievements/trophies in the game require players to find hidden areas in certain levels, as is the case with Where the Red Orbs Grow.
The description for the Where the Red Orbs grow trophy in Devil May Cry 5 says players need to collect red orbs from an “unexpected spot” in Mission 02. It’s easy for players to miss this hidden area, but if they know where to look they can visit the location and collect some extra red orbs with little trouble.
In Mission 02, Devil May Cry 5 players will want to progress through the level until Nero encounters the first set of enemies. Kill all of the enemies using Nero’s Devil Breakers and his other weapons, and then continue forward. The path will then split, with players having the option to go to their left, or through an alleyway on their right. To complete the Where the Red Orbs Grow trophy, players will want to go through the alleyway on their right.
Some enemies will likely spawn in here, so get rid of them, but then take note of the concrete slab midway through the alley. Jump on this slab and then use it to jump through a hole in the wall to find a secret area with a lot of red orbs. Getting in this room will satisfy the achievement/trophy, but players will want to be sure to collect all of the red orbs before they continue the mission.
This is just one of many secret areas in the world of Devil May Cry 5. The environments are filled with many other secrets as well, including Secret Missions that players can find, not to mention no shortage of blue and purple orb fragments. The latter are especially important, as they help increase the player’s health and Devil Trigger gauges respectively.
It’s possible there are even more secret areas that Devil May Cry 5 players have yet to discover, but they may not necessarily have achievements/trophies tied to them. More should come to light as fans continue to play through the game.
